Camping Halloween Style!

Some would call us crazy for taking a 7 week old camping but Gia did great! We ventured up to the Hagerstown KOA on Saturday - close enough to cousins in Fredrick that if anything went wrong we could just escape to their house. The O'Malley's and Bulleri boys were already there waiting for us.

The campground had lots of fun activities for the kids - playground, marshmallow shooter making and trick or treating. Jack had a ball running around playing with Noah, Max and Ella and Gia loves to be outside!

 happy girl loving the outdoors!
Ella, Jack and Max enjoying the tire swing

Ella was jumping on her tent pretending it was a slide...too funny!
lunchtime!

Thanks for letting us borrow the moses basket Libby - it was perfect!
 snugglin' up to keep warm!
 marshmallow time!
Jack's marsmallow shooter...now him and daddy both have one! look out mom and Gia!

TRICK or TREAT!
I was shocked that Jack went up to this scary man for candy!

Aunt Katie blocking the kiddos from falling in the creek
whose dumb idea was it to let them throw rocks in the creek!? (that'd be mine :))
Daddy making dinner....we had silver turtles (ground beef, potatoes and carrots wrapped in aluminum foil and cooked on the coals of the fire). Daddy used to make these when he was in boys scouts so we spiced them up a bit with montreal seasoning and cheese and they were delicious!

I don't think Ella wanted her picture taken...
 naptime!
 what's camping without a DVD player....haha!
it is 2011 - the campround even had wifi!
time to make smores!

all the kids were in bed...time to relax with a beer!
