March Madness!!!

March usually brings beautiful weather, our first trip to Rita's for the season, lots of trips to the park and while we had all of those things, we also had SNOW! The biggest storm of the season! We were indifferent about it, it was nice to be off and it was just enough to play in for a couple hours and then it melted away but we are so ready for nice weather already!! We also had our first visit from the tooth fairy!!!
Gotta love Rita's!
ready for one of many trips to the park - the cold wasn't stopping our kiddos!
who doesn't love to swing when it's 30 degrees out!? crazy kid!
it happened!! and the tooth fairy left Jack $5!
 Spring Fever!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

This was the first St. Patty's Day that Jack actually realized there could be a Leprechaun. For about a month before St. Patty's day the Leprechaun would play lots of jokes and leave a ton of mess in his classroom at school. We even had to make him a leprechaun trap! It was awesome - mama forgot to take a picture, sorry! St. Patty's day is one of Mama and Daddy's most favorite holidays - this year we continued the tradition of going to Kelsey's in Ellicott City with our favorite friends!
We even had green chocolate chip pancakes!
 Gia's not a fan of mama's headband...
good thing her rain boots match :)

Spring has Sprung!?

We had fantastic weather this weekend...too bad it seems to be a tease of what's yet to come - it's supposed to be cold again this weekend, yuck! We took full advantage of the awesome weather and spent most of the weekend outside! We took walks, spent time with Grandmom and Grandad, hit the zoo and played outside with the neighbors!
Hanging out on Jack's scooter with Grandad's drink....
giving lots of love to Pop-Pop!
one of the many trips to the tot lot....we really need a playset in our own yard! Hopefully daddy will take care of that this summer :)

swinging on the big girl swing, she has NO fear at all....
Even the animals at the Baltimore Zoo were basking in the beautiful sun!
Here is a shot of the new polar bear
Gia was ready to go right through the fence to see the Rhino's!

Gia Marie - 18 Month Stats

Gia is following in the footsteps of her big brother, she is 28lbs and 35 inches tall. That is 94% for weight and off the charts for height - the doctor says she's going to be tall and skinny. Daddy wasn't too happy about that, he doesn't want the boys banging down our door :)

Not much has changed since our last update, just more of the same. Talking like crazy but we're able to understand a lot more, climbs on everything, loves to dance, read, draw, play with her babies, being outside (come on SPRING!) loves to eat, loves dressing up, and pretty much loves playing with anything Jack is playing with. She is super sweet but has a little devil in her and you can't help but laugh at her - she poured the dogs water out on the kitchen floor while saying "oh no" - like it was an accident or something....I was so mad but just wanted to laugh.  She's also very good at following directions but if she's not ready to do something, she'll throw a fit - it has to be on her terms. We're working on it :)
 playing chef
always wants my oven mits and Jack's shoes!
