2 Year Old Stats!

We thought it would be fun to pull out Jack's old check up forms from the doctors and compare him and Gia. They are both big, I mean, very healthy kids :) Gia actually grew 3 inches in 6 months, wow!!!

Jackson was 35lbs and 38 1/2 inches tall when he was 2 and Gia is 32lbs and 37 inches tall - not too far off! Since Gia is a girl, we'd hope she'd be the smaller one, lol!
Jack had such a chubby face like his mama
Gia looks more like her daddy
Gia goofing off with the table paper roll at her appointment

More Summer fun - lots of Birthdays!!

Aunt Dana and Ethan came to hang out so we took the tour of the neighborhood on the scooters and hit the 'dinosaur' playground. Gia just loves yelling for "Ethan Michael" - it's too cute. She's so bossy!

Happy 1st Birthday Keegan!!! We love you!!
Jack & El didn't leave the bounce house much!
 ready to DIG in!

Aunt Jess got in the fun with Gia :)

The Baltimore Yacht club doesn't close it's pool on Labor day so we spent the day with Lib and Kacy
 they couldn't be cuter...
they'll probably hate these pics in 10 years, maybe earlier :)
Love these shots, he was exhausted!
Happy 2nd Birthday to Ella! Ella was born in the same hospital as Gia just 1 day earlier!
Ella is a photo pro and Gia was being rotten (of course)

Gia being mean and taking the baby from it's seat....hope she grows out of it!

Happy 2nd Birthday Gia!

Our Gia monster is 2!! Gosh, so many ways to describe her - she is so funny, super smart, very sassy, quite demanding and oh so sweet :) She LOVES her brother! They do have their moments but Jackson is patient and always tries to help. Gia started talking early so she has quite a big vocabulary for a 2 year old - she even speaks in 3-5 word sentences. She likes to follow up most sentences with "right now" - that's her demanding side coming out! She loves to be outside and run and follow her bro bro around everywhere. She eats just about anything we put in front of her from avocados to steak!

We had a small family party this year - she had tons of fun blowing out her candle (we lit and re-lit it about 10 times so she could keep blowing it out)

Tried to get a good pic of them outside but this is about the best I could get - crazies!

good one of Gia and Nana

 again, again, again!!

she loves her baby carrier that grandmom and grandad got for her!
everyone should have an ICE for breakfast on their birthday
We were taking them to school for her birthday treat and of course she had to have one on the way!
Grandmom Sue came to visit and bring Jack and Gia awesome Ravens' gear!
Happy Birthday Gia!! We are so blessed to have you and love you very much!

Endless Summer....

If we had our way Summer would never end, we love summer - the pool, the zoo, the fair, cookouts with great friends and awesome neighbors and just plain being outside - who in their right mind would want all that fun to end!? But all good things must come to an end and tomorrow is the first day of 1st grade for Jackson and the first day in the 2 yr old room for Gia - it's going to be a big day!!

Recapping August since I didn't seem to blog at all in August, oops!! We hit up the Howard County Fair, lots of trips to the pool, cookouts with neighbors, playdates with Molly and Landon and wrapping it up with the Autism picnic!
