Winter Update

Sorry for the lag in posts, mama had foot surgery but she is quickly on the mend! We have been celebrating each weekend with Ravens' wins and praying for the win this Sunday at the Super Bowl! Every time football (or any sport for that matter) is on TV, Gia instantly throws her hands in the air - it's too cute! Jack had fun playing with Ella while we watched the Ravens beat up on Tom Brady and the Patriots :)
mama was so excited, she was taking pictures of the TV!
Ray Lewis' last dance at M&T Bank Stadium
 GO RAVENS!

Pretty sure Lexi loves Gia's Dora bed as much as Gia does!
Jack learning how to photo bomb already!
Jack had a ball sledding with the neighborhood girls!

Update on Princess Gia - 17 months old
She loves the bath, brushing her teeth, playing with anything that belongs to Jack or that Jack has in his hand. She's non-stop, climbing, playing, laughing, EATING - the girl doesn't stop! She loves to bang on the pantry door for food, sit in the fridge and put her feet up on the table when she eats. She also enjoys eating dog food, dog bones and laying in the dog crate - I'm pretty sure she wants to be a dog. It's weird, but as I think back on it, Jack did the same thing and he turned out just fine (here is proof http://mansolillo.blogspot.com/2008/02/weekend-at-home.html) :) She loves to read books and says lots of words like Jack, please, thank you, monkey, Lexi, Rocco and she says most of the animal sounds. If she doesn't know it, she'll just growl at you which works too - it's super funny. She is such a riot!

  Jack's slippers....
Her first pig tails - she never lets mama put them in but she let her teachers at school
Loving Rocco's crate - we actually have to lock it to keep her out of it

Happy New Year!

Hoping everyone is having a great 2013 so far! It's been pretty good to us - the Ravens are in the playoffs AGAIN! Here's hoping they go ALL THE WAY this year!!!

We enjoyed a pretty quiet week between Christmas and New Years - Mama was off but Daddy had to work. We hung with the Woody girls, celebrated Cammie's 6th birthday and Mama took the kiddos to the Science Center.
finding fossils
this random kid cracked me up acting like a dinosaur in my pic...
this was the highlight of the Science Center - I could have taken them to the mall for this!
 Hurricane Simulator - so funny!
they also spent almost 20 minutes around this silly thing....
Instead of exchanging gifts, we went to the Melting Pot and Bowling with
Aunt Kristin and Uncle Joey. Good times!

Merry Christmas!!!!

Christmas is such a blast! We love how much Jack believes in the magic of Santa and Mr. and Mrs. Elvis (our Elves on the shelf). Every morning he'd rush down to see what the elves got themselves into and he'd move his advent calendar each day without fail. He did question the size of our chimney - he said Santa was too fat to fit down it. We assured him that Santa's magic would get him in our house to leave presents. Gia (obviously) isn't quite there yet but she had a ball tearing open her gifts.

We celebrated with the McNeece family on the Saturday before Christmas. Auntie Liz had cookies and gingerbreadmen for them to decorate! Gia LOVED playing in the playhouse and with the giant exercise ball ;)

 goofs!

Nana and Jack had matching sweaters!
Molly and Jack - best buds!

This is her new thing - not sure why but it's pretty funny! She walks around with a ball in her mouth and tries to give it to people, kind of like a dog. Maybe she needs to lay off the milk bones (yes, she loves dog bones!)
 Santa's little helper
Christmas Eve we spent at home with Mama's family - Gia loves to be at the table like a big girl.
the best shot I could get - she just doesn't like to stay still!

Santa Ethan!
Such a goof - he gets that from his mama ;)
We left Santa and the reindeer plenty of cookies and carrots!
 Santa sure was tired!
After almost every present Jack would say "just what I always wanted!" - makes it all worth it!
Lexi and Rocco are ready for us to go back to school and work!
Santa was good to daddy too - more tools!
 cutie...
Christmas morning Nana, Pops, Aunt Kristin and Uncle Joey came over to exchange gifts before we headed down to Calvert County to visit with the Schwab side of the family!
 Brody, Ryan, Jack and Renee
Gia has been loving on babies lately, it's too cute!

eating dog food - she'll probably be mad when she sees this when she is 18 :)
Jack played with almost all his toys the day after Christmas - here with his most favorite - iPod Nano and his PlayMobil
 we made Slurpees
 and built legos too!
Rocco loves to lay under the tree....almost like he's 20 lbs instead of the 95 that he is!
Visiting with Pop Pop Smith - he always has good candy!
