Great Grapes!

Jack got to experience his first wine festival on Saturday at Oregon Ridge with The Horne's. Kacy and Jack had a great time running all over the field (an other peoples blankets, oops!).
Jack loved drinking out of the wine glass.
Kacy getting her groove on...
Kacy giving Jack a big smooch....encouraged by the mom's of course
Kacy feeding Daddy Dave raisins...
After the festival we headed back to the Horne's for more wine and dinner. Kacy and Jack love climbing all over the couch.

notice Kacy's shirt says "Daddy Drinks b/c I Cry"...
After dinner we decided to throw the kids in the tub since they were so sweaty and stinky.

Another fun weekend!

Jack was quite the crankster this weekend b/c he has 2 front teeth and 4 molars coming in but we still seemed to catch him smiling. Saturday Aunt Erica's neighborhood was having a garage sale so we went over to hang out. Anna is on the move and did not like that her momma stuck her in the exersaucer she was trying to sell so Jack gave her a hug...then Francesca gave her a hug...

just hangin' out

Sunday we took daddy to Mimi's for breakfast and then we headed to his 2 favorite spots - - Home Depot and Lowe's for Father's Day. Then we did a whole lot of nothing which is a nice change of pace for us. Well I guess you can't say nothing, we did take a long walk since it was such a nice day. We had to of course hit the tot lot...Jack can climb the jungle gym to get to the slide all by himself....

loves to swing...

Baby's Galore!!

This has been a busy week for baby arrivals! Matt and Amy Gehring welcomed Abigail Lea into the world on one of the best days of the year, June 9th (happens to also be my birthday, yea!) We went to visit on Saturday and Jack was very intrigued with how little Abbi is.
Here is proud daddy Matt and Abigail...

she's waking up....
Jack hanging out with Uncle Matt...

Then on June 12th, Mike and Katie O'Malley were blessed with Gabriella "Ella" Lynn. She looks just a little bit like her daddy :) We're all so excited to have her here! She was very alert and awake when Auntie Shelley arrived.

She's smiling...or is she passing gas?! :)

Katie loves being a mom already!

A Trip to the Beach

This past weekend we went down to Delaware to spend with Grandma and Grandad. We never actually made it to the beach because it was so hot but Jack was just as happy to swim in the pool and play with his new car grandma and grandad just bought him. He also LOVED to be squirted in the face with the hose....he thought it was hysterical!

loves Miller Lite already just like his mommy and daddy....
wearing Grandad's hat....
Jack loved his bubble machine....

Sunday Funday

Sunday we went to watch Daddy play football at Patterson Park. Jack loves running and throwing the football. Could he be the next Tom Brady?!
Hanging with his 2 favorite pals; Lexi and Rocco. Jack loves to snuggle with the dogs and usually they get up and leave when he starts laying on them but Sunday they were too tired to move so they let him abuse them for a while.
aaaaahhhh Lexi...
aaaahhhh Rocco...

Gone Fishin'

(preface: this posting is not about Jack)
Saturday we took a fishing trip out of Chesapeake Beach to catch some Rockfish. I had to throw my first catch back b/c it was barely 17 inches (18 inches is ok to keep) then my 2nd time up I caught a big ole stick that i thought had to be a 50 lb rockfish b/c it was so hard to reel in. 3rd time is a charm I guess b/c we got to keep it!
this is the one I had to throw back...
Tony's fish was about average at 21 inches....
Uncle Joey was the big winner....he caught the biggest fish at 29 inches.
crazy Uncle Vernon....
